Doe & Dog is a clothing shop in Norwich specialising on the global trade of high quality denim and utility garments, with a focus on craft and durability. The design has approached the subject of denim and jeans through its media context, highlighting their sociocultural role of self-expression, values and individuality – what stood out was the global significance of the fabric, its production and distribution. As research was translated into design, the proposal carries forward a language taking from postal distribution facilities, garment sorting systems to atelier infrastructures.
